Renia Cork Filler

Filling compound based on cork granulate, for filling welted shoes in shoe manufacturing and repair, and suitable for filling hollow spaces in plastic soles or as a filling material for 3D carving.

Specifications

• Free of toluene and MEK.
• SHELFLIFE: Minimum 6 months at 20 °C
• OPEN TIME:  Depends on the thickness of the layer
• thinning: can be thinned with 2000-33 Renia - Rubber Cement if it gets too dry at any point in time
  
• tip: keep the can tightly closed. Cans should be stirred before use, to ensure an even distribution of all components. (Or turn the can upside down every now and again during storage)

Instructions

• prime leather with Renia -  Rubber Cement first: 2000-33
• then apply a sufficient amount of cork filler and smooth it out. 
• For a layer thickness of 1 - 2 cm, allow it to dry overnight or for 24 hours, thicker layers up to 48 hours.
• 3D embossing: Thinner layers can be processed further after a short waiting time.
