Traditional Spanish Veg-Tan Ternera Zahonera Luxe Oiled Whole Skin

This Zahonera is veg tanned young lifestock leather of the best quality you can get, with a beautifully smooth and slightly buffed full grain surface with practically no blemishes, cleanly finished on the flesh side and impregnated with oils after veg tanning.
The aniline finish shows off the structure of the leather in the lighter colours, leaving the beautiful character of this natural product visible.

We offer this gorgeous super high-end leather in 1st quality only. These hides are developed specifically for the making of the traditional Vaquera riding chaps "zahones". These are made out of 1 whole hide and hand embroidered with fine kid parchment lace around filigre-decorated borders with a white goatskin backing.

But of course this leather is also great for all sorts of high end small leather goods, footwear, where only the best will do.
Disclaimer: the oils keep the leather souple, but may stain other materials like cloth, light coloured leather, ... when in contact. 

This is a delicate leather that will easily scratch and stain, showing the traces of it's history on the surface of your leathergoods. A buff with some leather conditioner will rejuvenate the leather easily.
