Traditional Spanish Veg-Tan Defaldado Side

Our Spanish leather is veg-tanned in a family run tannery from the province of Toledo, that produces high quality leathers with the distinctive handmade character of traditional Spanish leather.

The trimmed saddle skirting is veg tanned, machine finished and dyed throughout. It is used by top saddle and bridle makers across Spain for price and quality. It works great for straps as the trim removes the inferior belly, leaving only the best part of the side without also shortening it like a bend.

As with all B-grade leathers, occasional superficial marks and imperfections are possible, but stay minimal and are easily worked around.
