Traditional Spanish Chrome-Tan Buffel Bend Prestretched

This Spanish leather is chrome-tanned in a family run tannery from the province of Toledo, that produces high quality leathers with the distinctive handmade character of traditional Spanish leather.

The Chrome-Tan Buffel Bend Prestretched is machine finished and dyed on the surface showing the characteristic chrome green in the center of the thickness. Then it is pre-stretched on a machine length wise to align the fibres and remove the maximum amount of stretch. This makes it ideal for girthing billets on saddles, or other straps that will endure a great pulling action and where stretching should be avoided.

As with all B-grade leathers, occasional superficial marks and imperfections are possible, but stay minimal.
