Traditional Spanish Veg-Tan Vaqueta Oiled Side
This VAQUETA is veg tanned leather from young livestock, that has been impregnated with oils after tanning and is cleanly finished on the flesh side.
The anniline finish shows off the structure of the leather in the lighter colours, leaving the beautiful character of this natural product visible.
We offer this high-end oiled leather in 2nd grade quality with occasional blemishes, color irregularities, marks, ... ideal for those who make smaller projects and can work around the markings.
This leather is great for small outdoor leather goods, light strapwork, book covers, footwear, saddlery, ...
Disclaimer: the oils keep the leather souple and water repellent, but will stain other materials like cloth, light coloured leather, ... when in contact.
