Renia water based Non Permanent Adhesive Aquilim SG

Water-based non-permanent, peel-and-stick adhesive, bonds all types of leather. Allows opening and closing the bond many times, does not become permanent ever. Pressure-sensitive adhesive (PVA dispersion), for all common shoe upper materials and all leather types, especially for keeping materials in place for sewing. Adheres to all oil/fat-free surfaces. Bond can be adjusted as often as needed, adhesive never cures completely and stays very flexible. Dries clear. Drying time: 2-10 min.

• Compared to solvent-based adhesives, Renia - Aquilim is much more concentrated (higher solid content). The concentration is about 3 times higher than what you find in classic Neoprene glues. This means that with the same amount, you can do a lot more work! 
• Thin with water.

Instructions

• Sand or roughen compact materials. Upper leather, Alcantara, Textile, and expanded/foamed material can be bonded without preparation (remove grease or separating agents if necessary). Can be applied with a brush, roll, or by spraying.
• Easy to spread, higher solid content than regular rubber solution. Can be used one-sided or two-sided. If used one-sided, always apply to more absorbent or rougher side. The parts can be joined within 1-2 minutes of application of the adhesive and can be stitched/sewn immediately. The thread channel and the needle remain clean and do not clog up. Multiple removal and correction of the bonded parts is possible. High shear strength, very low peel strength.
• HEAT ACTIVATION: If you are working hot anyway (e.g. heat-moulded EVA-insoles), the adhesive does not limit you at all: just apply Renia - Aquilim to the material and put it in the oven (as you would anyway). Just let the parts cool down in the press afterwards. No risk of fire or explosion, the water evaporates and that is it: Bonding can be that easy!
• Make sure surfaces are clean and rough before bonding.
• Coat absorbent surfaces twice if necessary.
• Bond within open time, or activate with heat afterwards.
